On September 15th, the Azadi movement handed over the petition titled "Every Afghan Right to a Safe Life" to the MPs who had speaking time during the Afghanistan debate.
In a legal no-land, man's too many Afghans are currently waiting without hope. In the meantime, the mission is being evaluated while the crisis continues. The responsibility to protect and secure all Afghans has only recently begun. The debate has made it clear that the waiting Afghans will have to wait even longer.
The first step is to alter Afghanistan's foreign policy and declare Afghanistan unsafe, not just in the Netherlands, but throughout Europe. It is now clear that Afghanistan has been unsafe for a long time, and the outgoing cabinet's decision to postpone this policy is shameful. It is not evacuation followed by policy. It is evacuating as well as adjusting the policy. Enough is enough. Declare #Afghanistanunsafe

I was there to document this petition. I was allowed to record Sahar Shirzad's, the members of parliament, and Najeeb's speeches, and the result is incredibly beautiful.
