Cooking and chatting together. This occurs at the Alleman community centre in Amstelveen, where the elderly gather to cook together. Every Sunday in March, this workshop is held. It is a foundational initiative from WailSalutem.

Loneliness is more prevalent among the elderly. In particular, if an elderly person has lost a partner. These elderly people can meet their neighbours through a cooking class like this one. They also get to try a new dish, which is just one of the benefits of this Wailsalutem cooking workshop.

Rachid Kherrazi, co-founder of Wailsalutem, explains how this cooking workshop has been beneficial in this video.
